and today. i am a new researcher. hehe. nope. actually today was my first day for Industrial Training.
Agro-Biotech Institute, which was located near the UPM Serdang was my 3rd choice actually. but, what to do, I get placement here. so, I have to. May Allah ease my journey inshaAllah. okay so this day-to-day post actually was created to help students out there for some reference perhaps. feel free to go through this posts :)
my first day quite bored. I arrived at the institute at 8.30 am and rush to the admin office for registration. then, Kak Hana took me to the Microbial Technology Lab. The lab was located at Block B together with Genetics and Cell Biology Laboratory and Cryobiology Lab.
and today I am totally a BIOTECHNOLOGY student as I have to know all the machine and apparatus used for the projects and all the terms for biotech. MashaAllah this is actually hard but i'll try to do it. I am majoring in Botany so this task is quite hard for me as i have no basic in Biotech. so..i have to. waaaaa :'(
okay enough for the hard part.
and as what my colleagues did for their Mini Project, me too was assigned the same topic as them. about the CORN SILAGE. for the time being, Madam Fiza (my supervisor) asked me to read some journals and information about silage. and I was introduced to all my lab partners. they are Sue and Esha. both of them are UPM students and had done their industrial training for about 2 months. so, another 1 month left. i learnt a lot from them. seriously I am a little bit slow in adapting a new environment. but they convinced me that everything should be fine inshaAllah. they are friendly and it is easy to be friend with them.
